REP Fitness Safety Squat Bar

The Safety Squat Bar is a top-of-the-line, specialty barbell that provides comfort and training variety. It is extremely versatile and functional, featuring beefy, fully knurled handles that you can remove for more movement options and eventually more handle options. The bar’s cambered ends distribute the weight differently than a standard barbell, forcing the lifter to remain upright during squats, improving technique, and requiring more upper back and core stabilization. The handles bring your hands in front of your body, which is easier on the shoulders, elbows, and wrists. The Safety Squat Bar is a great training tool for those working through injuries or with mobility limitations.

The distance between the cambers (49.1”) allows for easy racking, even on wider racks. The Safety Squat Bar has a firm yet comfortable, textured pad made from high-density foam wrapped in vinyl that’s incredibly durable and easy to clean. This bar comes finished in a metallic black powder coat. It's not only versatile, but the striking two-toned design will look good in any home or commercial gym. The SSB is compatible with 2” Olympic-sized plates and standard barbell collars. This barbell weighs more than a regular bar (68lbs) and has a static rating of 1,500lbs.
